FAQs

What if I don’t have all the kit? Don’t let that stop you, drop us a line and we can work it out, and we have some things you can borrow
How fit do I have to be? You will be walking for up to 8 hours in the Lake District and carrying all you need for our wild camp. It sounds a lot, and if you are reasonably fit and have been in hills before you should be fine. We’d recommend doing a 20km walk for practice. Before the adventure will with share some tips and hack to make your rucksack as light as possible and we will share as much kit as possible between us. Anything to lighten the load
Who will be there? The short answer is we will find out on the day. However, we generally have a wide range of ages and a mix of genders. We find walking with people is a great way to get to know them, especially when we have walking as a common interest.
What will the accommodation and food be like? On the Fri night we will have a couple of private rooms that we will share and some hearty food. For Sat we will find a flat(ish) area near a safe water source, hopefully with great views and we will be sharing tents. Food will be warm and hearty camping food.
