Introduction to Navigation Training

Service Description

If you've got little experience using a map and compass to navigate, and want to start building foundational skills then this course is for you. Skills: - Intro to map reading - Relating contours on the map to the real world - Intro to using a compass - Orientating a map No prior experience is needed. The day will be spent in the hills where you will practice the skills as you learn them. It hopefully be a really enjoyable day, with a lunch spot with a beautiful view! This course is accessible by train (Edale train station) and there is also a car park and plenty of accommodation nearby if needed. We will meet at the Station cafe at 9am before we head out into the hills.
